Alvin was a gentle giant and I painted this piece as a memorial painting for his lovely owners.

He had such an expressive and distinctive face, I chose a simple composition to frame his beautiful little chops.

His owners miss him very much but tell me that they often look to the painting and find comfort in the fact he’s still watching over them.
